  • Welcome

To our group practice for Radiotherapy and Radiooncology Bremen-Mitte.

We invite you to get to know our team and services.

You can find our ambulance and practice next to the main building for Surgery and Radiology. Our ward (station X/1) is directly adjacent on the first floor.

The radiotherapeutic treatment of malignant or benign diseases, as well as combined radiation and chemotherapy is carried out in close collaboration with operative and non-operative clinics of Clinic Bremen-Mitte, neighbouring hospitals, and specialized practices and practices for primary health care for this region.

The interdisciplinary radiotherapeutic treatment is carried out based on national and international standards and guidelines with utilization of modern equipment and techniques. Up-to-date concepts for treatment are discussed and adjusted in regular tumour conferences. The clinic and group practice participate at many therapy protocols which are recommended by professional associations and the German Cancer Society.

For every patient an individual concept for treatment is developed with special consideration of medical findings and personal necessities. The concept is then extensively elucidated and discussed with patient and relatives.

The care of ambulant patients is supplemented by a potential stationary medical care on our ward. Station X/1 is managed conjointly by medical and care supervision. Relatives can be accommodated in two homelike and artistic family rooms.
